Cape Coral's Budget Watchdog Answers the Call

I am ready to serve the taxpayers of Cape Coral.
We cannot wait any longer. Now is the time to bring common-sense spending reform to Cape Coral. Our city’s budget has grown significantly, and it requires leadership that not only understands the numbers but knows how to manage a budget of this size effectively. I will serve as a strong, informed check on city management to ensure accountability and protect taxpayers.
I am incredibly grateful for the outpouring of support I received in 2022. Since then, I’ve heard from countless residents who are asking for a candidate who truly understands the intricate details of our city’s budget and is prepared to make informed, responsible decisions. That’s exactly what I intend to bring to the council.
Join my fight to protect paradise.

Who better to oversee a $1B + budget than someone who has already done it...

Time for Action on these Issues

Stop Increasing Taxes & Assessments
Property Tax dollars have increased 64% since 2020. Fire Service Assessment has increased by 145%. The Utility Expansion Program (UEP) is now a full-blown crisis for working families and for the reputation of our city. People are moving from paradise because city taxes are just too damned high. They deserve better and I will work to freeze all taxes and assessments in the city, and work to find ways to reduce the UEP burden.

Common-Sense Spending
Four years since I ran for office and the wasteful spending has only gotten worse. The budget has exploded and the council and city leadership still have an insatiable appetite for spending. I will fight for every dollar saved and will NEVER vote to raise taxes. There is more than enough waste to cut spending and grow our city.

Hold Staff Accountable
City Council members have a sworn duty to oversee the City Manager and ensure proper execution of the wishes of the residents of Cape Coral. This council has handed their authority and responsibility to the people they have a fiduciary responsibility to manage. I am a vote to hold overreaching bureaucrats to account.

Citizen Involvement
Citizen involvement is critical to the health and transparency of our city. I was removed and my committee disbanded when I fought to make public what the council and manager were hiding. We found ways to cut waste and were removed. Cape Coral needs more involvement, not less!

Improve City Management
Cape Coral City Management is in a perpetual state of excuses. Leadership and taxpayers are not aligned on much. This team believes they are owed your hard-earned tax dollars. I do not! I will
fight to hold departments and the
City Manager accountable to the people.
I did it before, I can do it again.
